Settling Down: When Should You?

In an article written by Holly Riordan, she talks about how its better to wait until you are older to settle down with the right person than to commit to the wrong person while you are still young. Riordan explains that it is normal to be single in your twenties and that one should not feel embarrassed for being single. There are lots of reasons why being single during your twenties is a good thing because you can use this time to advance your career or even learning your lessens about love by going through a toxic relationship. The main argument about this article that I agree with is that one should wait until they experience true happiness no matter when that might occur. This article relates to my Parenting and Technology class because we just learned about passionate and companionate love. Passionate love is the crazy intense love while companionate love is less intense but the bond grows over time.
